I have a Moto G, and it's quite good, but there is a recurring problem where if you tell it to use your external SD card as extended internal storage, it will sometimes panic and kill said SD card. So, uh... be careful with that. Unfortunately it looks like a new one's around $150-$200, but you might be able to find a previous model on swappa.com that's compatible with your carrier.
