I have the draft recorded and sent to my partner for approval, and I have Carla Schroder's The Book of Audacity unopened in my lap, and I'm sure the book contains instructions on how to edit puffed P's and whatnot out of my audio (because the puffs of air go right across the mic and produce this ugly fuzzy sound) but the book intimidates me. ARGH. Some podficcer I'm gonna be if I can't edit audio. I do think I actually recorded the text at a decent talking speed rather than my usual talking speed, though, so that much is good...
Other things that intimidate me at the moment: Japanese the Manga Way and Living Language: Japanese. (Which naturally romaji-ify words differently! Manga book uses macrons to indicate long vowels, Living Language doubles up vowels to do the same.)
