Fandom Snowflake Challenge Day 15
In your own space, share a favorite memory about fandom: the first time you got into fandom, the last time a fanwork touched your heart, crazy times with fangirls (whether on-line or off-line), a lovely comment you’ve received or have left for someone. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Make that crazy times with fans, online or off, and all I can think about is the group I was with for two years, three or maybe four if we count before chat.trycanta.com started up, the meetup with the amusement park, the guy I dated, the girl I roomed with and crushed on, and the way the whole damn thing crash-and-burned, in large part due to me screwing up. After crashing my initial try at a college career and being singularly unhelpful with my attempts to launch an actual career, but that was my fault too.
That was going on four years ago. I thought I was over this.

spn_bitesized! Bitesized is awesome. Lots of little ficlets that hit you right in the gut. And I got a lovely comment from nonisland yesterday after I did an outtake from a story of same's. "Thank you for telling this story, for not letting it go untold." I think that means I did good. :)
