Dear teacher:
Me going typy-type while you talk is not me disrespecting you. Me going typy-type while you talk is me TAKING FUCKING NOTES. And keeping my fingers occupied so I can focus.
(And also snippets of Sam/Dean hugfic. But we shall not discuss that.)
Me playing with my hair while you talk after you've told me I can't type? That isn't disrespecting you either. That is, again, me occupying my hands so I can focus. Not as effective 'cause I end up with no notes, though.
