*shrug* my optional details for that one read as follows:
I could say a lot about exploring what do we mean by 'art' (and/or 'craft(s)') and what do we mean by 'artist(s)' and what do we mean by 'audience' and how these interact on various levels, but let's be honest: you probably had a story in mind when you offered this canon. I want that story.
and I've been enjoying Good Omens TV content from the sidelines†, so I'm not about to complain about anything other than how I didn't have enough brain yesterday to leave the thinky comment the fic deserves!


† and flailing at the people who insist Aziraphale and Crowley have to be cis gay men who fuck for their love story to be Representation and for Gaiman to not be a bigot, when Gaiman (1) has artistic history none of these people are looking up (2) keeps saying over and over and over again that even were he willing to pin down either character that closely without consulting with Pratchett first, neither character is a man because neither character is human and if people can see them as nonbinary and/or asexual and/or panromantic and/or etc then good 'cause that's the point

I'm very much enjoying Good Omens fandom as an observer, and am greatly appreciative of all the work that explores ideas of partnership outside the very rigid one that so many are obsessing over (I had to explain to one gay male friend that actually, no, Other Friend wasn't actually correct in their call out, just because Other Friend can't tell the difference between actors and characters and is assigned assumed gender of the former to the latter).

And yes, I love the idea of exploring what art is. This and the other 4'33'' piece were a delight to read.
